I have known since I was a child that becoming a caregiver was important to me, as I got older I knew it was a part of me! To be able to help just one person maintain quality of living or exceed they're expectations of they're quality of life is both what Ive strived for and put my heart into from the beginning of my career . My mother and father both were CNA's and worked in nursing facilities until they retired, 3 of my aunts and 2 of my uncles also were caregivers, Caregiving has always been my passion. I have been in the healthcare system for 20+ years working as a CNA & Personal home health Aid. I started as a CNA working in nursing/facility)when I was 16 years old. Then I started working in their homes one on one, I'm very passionate about being a caregiver it is an important part of who I am as an individual! I feel every person has their own individual needs, I have enjoyed working with each and in their own homes to meet their own personal needs. I've enjoyed this so well that I've not went back to working in a facility based environment since, being a caregiver is a part of me and who I am.

I sat out years ago to be a buisness professional and years later found my calling in Healthcare. My job is not just a job to me, it is my passion of caring for others. I began caring for my grandmother whom had broke both of her legs when I was 12 yrs old. I have always had a huge heart for older people and the privilege of caring for them now as a career is a true blessing. I love to hear stories of their past and learning them individually. Caregiving to me, is like being blessed with many extra family's!

Hi, my name's Madison. I'm currently a nursing student and am looking for an evening/overnight shift. My biggest personal achievement as a whole is actually making it into nursing school and continuing my education to become that nurse I've always wanted to be. My personality traits when being a great caregiver would have to be companionship, reliability, communication, supportive, and being trusted. I originally had set out to have a career in business and went to college for business ...I started to notice I was happy taking care of others making sure they are ok and have everything they need seeing a smile from someone makes it worth it at the end of the day. My mother had MS and I took on the role as a caregiver for her and am good at it. I love this occupation and hope to further my skills in the future

i have been a caregiver/CNA for a couple years now, i love taking care of my residents that ive had. i love hearing thier stories of thier lives. i love seeing the smiles on thier face when i come walking dowm the hallway or walking into work, i love to care and take care of others and be there when someone needs a hand, somtimes in life you can find yourself alone and no one there for you, thats one big reason i love doing what i do so someones not alone and i can make them smile and laugh!
