15 years ago I was in desperate need of a caregiver for my mother. It was very difficult to find an honest, caring, trustworthy person to care for her. I went through several different caregivers, including a family friend that didn't work out for the job. I ended up quitting my job and caring for her till she died 9 years later. At this point in my life I want to be able to help someone that needs special care because I know the negative impact it can take on the entire family when the care of a loved one is not being met. I think the sick and elderly are at our mercy to care for them.

I love what I do. I've been doing this since 2016. I think I've always tried to give back. I'm very outgoing. I work hard. When I can add quality to a persons life ...it makes me feel good. It truly is an honor helping families and improving their quality of life. I believe in God and Jesus. I love animals. I've lived in Chile and Argentina 20 years so I speak Spanish. I'm 54. Most of my clients have been memory care but I've also worked with hospice on other things and also cared for folks recovering from accidents or medical procedures. I've worked independent and also with agencies. I charge between 15-20 per hour. I have references upon request. 870-634-6234

I stay positive, I am focused on the task at hand Id like to say I am a cheerful being. I like to show that I care enough to go the distance for the people at service. I am loyal, diligent, patient, hardworking, kind, giving, helpful, sincere, funny, creative, determined, friendly, bright, self-confident, warmhearted. I think that it is essential that a great caregiver feels the desire to want to help. By showing empathy and compassion, caregivers will let the client or person know that they care about them. Not because they have to, but only because they want to. We should learn everything we can, get creative when we have to and do our best. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment, we should be proud of our resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. Even with a difficult task caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of our life.

I wanted to become a CNA because, I want to accomplish something important in my life. As a CNA I am making a difference in not only the lives of the patients that I help, but also their friends and families. I am helping to make many peoples lives more comfortable, and it can be a very rewarding experience. With me being a CNA is a great way for me to really test myself on my goals and to exposes myself to many members of the health care team. Going through training was hard work and being in charged with caring for sick people isn't something to be taking for granted. You have to have the will and desire to help people. I feel what makes me a good caregiver is with the 20 years experience in the medical field, I bring an additional quality that makes me the best person for the job--and that's my passion for excellence. I am passionately committed to producing very good results. I have excellent communications skills, strong organizational skills, to be a willing team player and work well under pressure.
