15 years ago I was in desperate need of a caregiver for my mother. It was very difficult to find an honest, caring, trustworthy person to care for her. I went through several different caregivers, including a family friend that didn't work out for the job. I ended up quitting my job and caring for her till she died 9 years later. At this point in my life I want to be able to help someone that needs special care because I know the negative impact it can take on the entire family when the care of a loved one is not being met. I think the sick and elderly are at our mercy to care for them.

I am a military spouse and mother of four. I am passionate about healthcare, as I have continued pursuing my career in the field even during military moves. I love helping people and knowing that I am making a difference. I am currently going to school and am on the pathway to get my nursing degree. I became a caregiver back in 2016 when I found out my grandpa had severe cancer and had a year to live I was his caregiver and also worked as an caregiver one of the main reasons I became a caregiver was because I loved helping the elderly feel loved and noticeable in there last days I always made my job fun for any of my clients.

When I see a smile on my client face, I know that I have made someone' day, that is my personal achievement.
