My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart. I remember going to nursing homes with my Mom as a child and singing to her patients. My Mother was a nurse and my Dad was a paramedic as well as several other family members. I love working with patients for a long duration of time so that we get an opportunity to bond together and it helps build up trust and rapor between nurse and patient.
