I am a down to earth person and that adapt to any type of environment, which makes me a great caregiver. I have been in the medical field for over 20 years and my motto in any position that I have worked in, I love helping people. I enjoy being able to help with the daily needs for my patient, anything to make that patient day a lot easier. I use to take up for the disable kids while in school and I use to help the elders with taking their grocery bags in the house , help them walk if they had diffculty walking and etc . I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I love the medical field its so rewarding when u can be there to help meet the medical needs and support of those who really need it. I practice compassion as a moral rule. My early obsession and training in philosophy and ethics might be to blame. While earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, I volunteered at various retirement homes as well as Soup Kitchens and Meals on Wheels. I find deep joy in caring for little things such as my plants and my cat, even in spite of her, well, cattiness. Some of my art draws attention to the natural environment, which was initially one of the reasons I decided to pursue cinematic arts. I have always had compassion for vulnerable populations, and I know from an existential and emotional standpoint that growing older can be frightening at times, which is why I wish to bring peace and joy to someone's life. My training in yoga therapy has further taught me the importance of stillness and breath, as well as nutrition. Having traveled and lived in other countries, I have learned how to effectively communicate with people who are different from me. My background in nutrition has taught me how to approach conversations from a clinical standpoint, and my work as an artist has taught me how to use the imagination in order to create positive and meaningful narratives for ourselves, especially as a means to cope with the later stages of life. I love poetry, traveling, hiking, reading, art, and nature.

I have been working in the healthcare field for 20yrs, and have work and all kinds of settings with many different clients and different stages of health. I became a caregiver because I like providing companionship and getting to know people. I like seeing positive results from my clients and their family. I am proud receiving my certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient Care Technician from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am also National Registered Certified Medical Assistant.

I'm patience, trustworthy, passionate and genuinely care about the person I'm taking care of. I enjoy taking care of ederly family members. I took care of my mother, she had dementia and alzheimers. I enjoy working one on one with family members that need my help. I recieved my certificate of completion as a certified caregiver. Also recieved a certificate Addressing agitation and Aggression in Dementia. It would be one of my most accomplishments due to my mother had dementia and alzheimers. I cared for my mother, that is one of the worst conditions to have. So to understand and be able too work with others. I pride myself on too being patient and understanding.
