I've been working in many aspects of healthcare since 1991. I Started out working with Young Adults with TBI and SCI injuries. I've run Alzheimer's Homes in the valley. From there I went into Hospital work as a CNA on Ortho, Med Surg, Tele, Oncology, Mental/Behavioral Health, Drug Addiction. Looking for more excitement I transferred into The Operating Room and worked as an Operating Room Assistant and later an Anesthesia Tech. Excitement got a little overwhelming so I learned to read Telemetry and was in charge of 60 plus people in the hospital on different floors. After 7 years there I left and started at Craig Hospital one of the Best rehab facilities in the country maybe the world. I was there for 13 years working with Major Brain injuries and Spinal cord injuries. In this time I became VERY proficient at working SCI & TBI. Bowel programs and Quad care. I'm a very good teacher and that was part of my job to educate family members so they could bring their loved ones home. I also have a VERY good understanding of TBI patients and spent Eight years working One On One with these individuals with Relearning EVERY aspect of their lives again. Educating family was a huge part of this job. I have tremendous experience and Impeccable references! In Twenty plus years in healthcare I've NEVER had a complaint against my license or inadvertently hurt ANY of my patients. Safety has always been my number ONE concern. I've received many awards for excellence in my years and go the extra mile to make sure my job was completed and my patients are comfortable and relaxed. After all we're here for them! I have a great personality and I'm VERY trust worthy. Im a man of my word. I work equally well with Men and Woman. My hearts in the right place. I'd love the opportunity to help you and your family member through difficult times. If you have any questions, Please feel free to inquire Thank You for stopping by! Have a Blessed day! Sincerely Robert Richardson
I have been a Caregiver/ CNA since 1998. I handle anything you throw my way. I have worked with people in early stages of demenita to the last stages of life ( hospice). I love the work I do because it keeps me humble. Working with people in all diferent stages in life is not for everyone. But I do believe this is my calling. Being a caregiver has also helped me become a better mother to my 5 children. Because without patience and understanding it can all go array. I'm hoping that one day I can take all the skills I have learned over the years and become a great nurse.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I' am very passionate about my job. I love working for others, providing the necessary care to improve the quality of life for my clients, I' am very patient, I' am a good listener, I communicate affectively, I' am a quick thinker, problem solver, and very caring. I became a caregiver to help others during a very delicate time. It is not always easy to ask for help, or receive help from anyone. This is what drives me to help others. To help them feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy making others happy. A personal achievement I' am proud is returning to school part time to receive a social work degree.
Love and support for others is the heart and passion of my personality which is why I opted for a career in the healthcare field about 15 years ago. I have extensive experience in working with people with many different disabilities and understand that every individual requires separate attention with varying needs. I professionally carry out my responsibilities by exceptionally monitoring individuals for changes in condition and report the change. I am from Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved to Phoenix in 2014. I'm excited to share my knowledge, compassion and love for people here in Arizona.
I am a professional caregiver with several years of of experience in attending to all of my clients' needs. I am patient, compassionate, caring, and thorough in my work, always treating my clients with dignity and respect. I am quick to respond to clients' ever changing needs. I have succeeded in raising the activity level, mobility level, and self-esteem of my most recent client, which individuals in the community have often pointed out to me. I am quick to build a great rapport with my clients. I enjoy helping others and improving their quality of life. I not only want to consider myself a caregiver, but also a friend.
I have family of 3 kids after the left I have the need of finding something to be occupied and I got my frist experienced and love it it makes me so happy when I see happy faces and I enjoy being helpful for somebody at one time they were full of energy 1 feel so proud of myself after my husband passed away 2006 I was able to continue with my life helping people and that is something to be proud I am very active person I get sick if I don't have nothing to do enjoy cooking and gardering
What would make me be a great caregiver is that i have a sense of empathy, caring either for a small child to and elderly person. I understand and connect most of the time with Patients that they can create a sense of calmness and trust with in me. I also have lots of Patients for those in need of my help i listen to what ever they have to tell me so they can feel some affection towards a caregiver. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that i myself have grandparents living with me i know as getting to a certain age you need help and cant do many things for yourself, There for this is when i realized this would be a perfect job for, since i love to help others in need or may need any type of resources from me. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is that you get to listen to other people, have a conversation with them and help them feel better. A personal achievement that i am proud of is that i have grown in this career path not only as for who i am but also my capability of managing a professional Medical Assistant in me and helping those in need of my help.

I come from a family of 10 siblings, I have always taken care of others, it's in my nature. I love the happiness I bring to others when I help the clients do task for themselves when their able, just as stroke clients, hip replacement, hospice. I nursed my Mom back from a stroke, she regained almost 100 percent physically and mentally. I enjoy helping others and caring for others when they can't take care of themselves.
I am caring and compassionate caregiver. After working in multiple places I have found my calling as a caregiver. Ive been in this field for 10 years. Seeing the difference that I make in peoples life is very rewarding. After caring for my first client back in 2008 I attended school and earned my CNA License in 2011.
