I have always been close to my elderly family as a young child .As I got older I would volunteer with my friends family to help them and I took care of my Uncle Rudy after his stroke .This is when I New my next calling after his passing was to continue to help the Senior in my community as I have now for HISC for going on 5 yrs.I am very compassionate and they come first,Family's have asked for me by name after having me once they ask for me to be their care giver. There are many reason's that I have become a caregiver. One major reason is because I love helping and taking care of people. I believe caregiving is one of the most rewarding jobs out in the work force. You learn so many new things about not just people but daily living everyday. You realize how different people are and the different needs that need to be meet for certain people. You also learn what unconditional love is. When you start doing a job like caregiving the person you are providing care for soon become like family. What I love about being a cna is the opportunity to build a relationship with my residents learning about their life and hobbies is very interesting to me, I have a passion for what I do and the elders are my number one priority, I like being able to be there to help someone with things that become difficult.
