Hello, my name is Lisa and I am 49 yrs old, mother of two adult children, and two grandchildren. I'm originally from Nebraska but have enjoyed southern living for the last 21 yrs. I recently moved back to the area to spend more time with my parents. In the future, I intend to be their sole caregiver but until they need me, I am open to helping others. I have been caring for the elderly since 1981. My main reason is just pampering and making them feel loved. I enjoy maintaining their life as they have lived it and pray someday someone else will do the same for me someday. I encourage independence not dependence. I am a good southern cook and I enjoy organizing and keeping the house clean. I also assist with helping in relocation by helping her movers, packing, escorting nationwide, and assisting the family with local services once arrived.

I have been a caregiver off and on since shortly after high school. I love working with the elderly and cherish the bonds I am able to build with each and every client. My long experience in the field has taught me patience and the ability to adopt to different situation.

I am a nurturer by nature. I love caring for the elderly and building a bond they, and their family can trust. I have been a care giver for 17 years! I enjoy every minute including the ups and downs. I never thought that would be my purpose in life, and to love what I do an be grateful everyday to get up and go to "work", however, they say "you'll never work a day in your life if you love what you do" and that is a true statement!

I start doing caregiver job when my grandfather passes away in 1999. I grew up with him and my grandma, but my grandma passes away I was still little, and they were part of my life, I am helping my mom taking care of him and the connection and the love I have for him is very deep, I decided that I will continue to help other and love them as my own. I am a very happy person, I am working hard, very easy to work with and loving person. I love to make my client happy and be comfortable in whatever situation they'll in. I work in the nursing home on memory care side for a while and gain a lot of experience on that side. My goal is to make sure they feel love, knowing they were love, comfortable and enjoy the life they have left in their own home.
