I started caring for people even before I completed my CNA certification. I've always had a passion to help people in need and to be a companion to people that don't have anyone else. I am very passionate about what I do because I love what I do. I am very proud of the education that I continue to pursue. My ultimate goal is to become a nurse. The thing I enjoy the most about this job is the different people I get to care for. I've learned a lot from my clients ,and I know that they could be completely comfortable with me.

I'm a great caregiver because it's in my heart. My mother was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2000, she couldn't afford home care so I took on the roll. She passed in 2010 an that's when I knew what I wanted to do. I helped family, friends and neighbors for awhile , then I went to Stone Academy An got certified. I love helping others , it's not just a job to me I LOVE IT.
I'm a great caregiver because I really care about the elderly. I am emphatic and compassionate. I took care of my mom who suffered with Alzheimer's and I try to imagine I'm giving the client the same care as if she was my very own mother. I am an ordained minister who is expected to walk in love. I get pleasure out of knowing that the client has been given the best care possible and if I was put under a microscope there wouldn't be anything to complain about. I try to follow the golden rule 'do unto others as you would have then do unto you.' I answer to a higher calling and I know I will be held responsible if I don't give the client the best care. To hear the doctor tell the relative that the client is very well taken care of is to me a personal achievement.
I am a certified nursing assistant and paraprofessional who wants to influence society postively through professionalism and showing compassion to help my patients and clients achieve a sense of well being. I am hard working, patient and compassionate. I am able to handle any situation that comes my way, while keeping my composure. I was attracted to this field of work because I believe in making the best possible use of what you have. Being patient and "passive" is not always viewed as a positive thing, but if I can leverage my personality traits to build professional relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that is a truly rewarding experience. I am a natural problem solver and that's what makes this job enjoyable for me. I like the fact that every day is different and brings new challenges that translate into learning experiences. I aim to learn as much as possible, at all times, regardless of circumstance. I am proud of the fact that I am able to remain positive and take something away from each experience I have in life.

I love making a different in the lives of others. After caring for my father for five years in Africa, I realized this is a profession that I'm good at and passionate about. When working with my father, I developed patience and empathy, and also have been working as a caregiver for about 5 years with a lot of experience. In the event of an emergency, I would recall the training I have learned and immediately follow the standard protocol and call 9-1-1 if needed. I have active CPR certification, so I feel confident performing that, If required
