I believe that we are all special, unique, different and with a purpose for our existence here on earth. For the many years that I have been taking care of the military men and women, I have loved the joy and appreciation that they give back. It is without a doubt that I will take a great care of your loved one just like I would care for my own. For me, life is a gift that comes from God and therefore, it must be respected.

I am a happy person with a great spirit, very patient. I was excited to become a caregiver after helping a family member suffering with liver disease from beginning to post transplant.

I have a tendency of going beyond my job description, at work, I like to hear how the patient's day is going and build a friendly relationship with them. By doing so, I know and understand them better, mood wise and attitude. Being a caregiver disciplines me and shows me the other side of people who can not help themselves, so it becomes a blessing to say I help others. I also dance so physical fitness is also one of my passion along with physical therapy. I am proud of the fact that anytime a patient gets discharged, a thank you card is left with my name on it. My job is not easy but hearing a thank you makes it better.

What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I am a hardworking mom of 4 and I always treat people the way I want to be treated. I am always on time with my job and always making sure that I provide good services and all time. I am a happy, honest, loving, funny and dedicated to my job. I love hiking, watching movies, eating and hanging out with my kids during my off time.

I love treating others well as a Caregiver because I always have it in mind that with life one should expect a lot of changes, challenges and experiences and these may be getting sick, accidents or growing old because it is the order of the day. So, I always imagine myself into that person's situation Iam caring for. The question that pops up in my head is what if that's me, my parents or my lovely daughter. I am a very empathetic, compassionate and patient person. I enjoy working with the disabled, sick, elderly, children and anyone that can use the right nourishment and care. I'm extremely proud of my self because I didn't think I could do this with a busy schedule and so much dedication, but it has come natural to me to devote so much time and love into caring and spending time with my clients. It fills my heart to give families that peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are in good hands professionally and emotionally. I really enjoy what I do.
