I have been a cna for 22 years. I am compassionate, caring . I believe in giving a person the dignity they deserve. No matter their living situation everyone deserves respect honesty.

I have been working as a care3for 40+ years. I love my work, like knowing I'm helping people to have a better quality of life. I also enjoy being a companion and making them feel appreciated and needed. I love being with people in general and have s lot of patience. I hung out with my grandmother and her church ladies a lot when young, always got along great with them. This experience helped me to decide to do caregiving. A special moment of my caregiving years was getting a lady who was embarrassed about having Alzheimer's and in a depression, back to leaving her home and going out to places, working with her flowers again and eating better.

Well, i would first like to introduce myself, my name is Jasmine Joseph. I Am 32 years old. I've been in the healthcare industry since before i could even remember! My passion for making sure that everyone around me is taken care of and in good health not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I grew up in a very loving home, working under my mother's In-home daycare growing up, i knew when i was taking care of the infants and toddlers that taking care of people was a passion that i've always had. I've had many clients within the last ten years of my life working from Independent living Resources, to the Opportunity center. I've like to say that i come in and completely change these client's lives for the best. I Love being granted the ability to strengthen their minds, and prolong their lives as much as possible, and i hope to get the chance to do that for a family member of yours.

Some personality traits that make me a great caregiver are: I'm caring, compassionate, detail oriented, good decision maker, friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy the warm and comforting feeling of helping others and making a difference in not only their life but the families life as well! What I'm most proud of about being a caregiver is the love I've been able to give and receive. For me this isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to enlarge your family and be given the opportunity to help your family members by caring for them.
