Hello! My name is Rocio Whitten and I have been a caregiver since 2002. I am from Colombia and moved to the United States in 1997. I started off as an independent caregiver when my neighbor asked me to take care of their mother, and from then I found my deep passion for this career. For a few years I continued to care give independently, but then, in 2011, I decided to start working with a company to have more consistency with individuals I got to serve. Helping out my clients is so rewarding. I love getting to make them smile and laugh, along with helping their general well being, and keeping my clients safe. Throughout all these years of care giving, I have learned so much from my clients and each person I get to serve has made me a better helper. Im always cheering people up and helping them look to the positive. I've been taking care of seniors for many years. Starting with my Mother years ago. She had Alzheimer's and Parkinsons. I have many senior massage clients. My oldest is 99. I'm very proud of my accomplishment in attaining massage license.

I am very outgoing I love to help. I am there to give comfort to your family member. I started off doing hospice care and I just knew I had passion to help the elderly. I enjoy knowing that I am helping somebody and assisting them with the things they like to do in their own home. A personal achievement I am proud of is knowing that When I leave most of my patients they are in good spirits and love my company

I've dedicated my life to fulfilling job tasks well doing something I REALLY enjoy most, helping others with daily life skills their unable to do alone, including providing companionship. I've learned being on time, reliability, & dedication is a priority through out my years of experience. I'm very proud of what I've learned so far and I've got plans to learn more everyday. One of my main achievements is watching , over viewing & loving an individuals day to day progress. As I grow with knowledge & age it's not always a JOB, it's being a positive inspiration & motivator to others in a time of need. I treat others they way i would want to be treated, & well working i always create a bond with my patients as if their family however still acknowledging there are boundaries being the employee. Meeting new people an being a team player gives me so much gratitude towards this profession I've established for so many years. I always attempt to apply availability PRN (as needed) in case of last minute emergencies being ON CALL. Flexibility variates (I try NOT to do overnights ONLY) however I have no problem with trying just to meet the needs of others and their families.
