Hello my name is Deshay and I am a certified personal care aide, I have been a PCA since 2019 and I also just recently received my CNA. I absolutely love caregiving, being able to help someone while they can stay in the comfort of their own home is my main goal! I have been in a few different settings when it comes to healthcare. I have worked in a nursing home, an assisted living home, and actual in home care. I am a fast learner and I can adapt to any situation pretty quickly. I know myself not everyday is going to be easy and some days can be more difficult than others but I take with a full heart and open mind and a compassionate demeanor. I watched my mom work in a nursing home for years, and I always looked up to her. I was always amazed at how much love she had for her residents and I could not wait to be apart of that! Hello! I've been a CNA for over 7 years now. I also have been doing home care for almost 2 years. I love working in the medical field. I prefer home care over the nursing facilities however. I love the 1 on 1 time I get to spend with my clients.

As we age a strong support system is all we have. I am now 22 years old, I've been working in health care for 4 years. My experience started in high school working as a volunteer aide for children who had developmental disabilities. I then began to grow my career further in health care learning first hand from registered nurses on how to change catheters, monitor oxygen tanks, give insulin injections, bsl, colostomy/ wound care. I've dealt with a variety of in home family who have members who have developed conditions such as MS, Heart failure, COPD, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, mentally challenged etc. Even if it comes to nursing back to health after a terrible fall, I'm efficient with using a hoyer lift. I may be a little slim but I am strong, with good strategic skills!
