I really enjoy helping people, and improving their quality of life. I've been working in healthcare since 1999, and feel I bring a wealth of experience to the job. I have a wonderful sense of humor (which I feel is a necessity) and I love to hear a client's story. I have had Systemic Lupus for several years, so I would prefer not to due a lot of heavy lifting. I would assess on a case by case basis.

Over the years I lost all four of my grandparents to cancer. I became a caregiver because I want to help people that are going through the same obstacles they once were. Helping people is my passion. The best feeling in the world is making a slight difference in one's life, making someone smile is everything. When I take care of my resident's and I recieve a smile it makes me feel like I've done a wonderful job. What attracted me to caregiving is going to the nursing home everyday and seeing my grandfathers nurses and aides come in, they always had a smile on their face and it gave him one too. The things they did for him were amazing and I wanted to do the same for someone else's grandparents.

I got attracted to being a caregiver upon my Great Grandfather's mental decline. I saw he needed help and knew I wanted to help as many people as I could to ensure they had the best quality of life possible. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving back to the community. I am proud to be the only person in my family to get a college degree and move out of the state of Wyoming!

I am a very caring and lovable person. I enjoy helping others the best that i possibly can. When i was younger I use to go to work with my step mom who was a CNA and i enjoyed being able to make a diffrrence in the residents lifes. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver, is that i actually get to take time out of my day to meet new people and put a smile on others faces. I love my job as a caregiver! I love helping those who need me! It makes me feel whole and accomplished as a person. I have a huge heart for caring for and helping the elderly. My best accomplishment is becoming "friends " with those I care for currently in assisted living and dementia care. I know it can be difficult but I love what I do! My mother had dementia and I wanted to help those in need. I want to help them in their daily lives and hopefully help them stay at home longer. Assisted living facility that I work with currently, is great! But I'd like a more personal care setting.

I truly enjoy being around the elderly I grew up with my grandma living with me with Alzheimer's as a child and I always wanted to help in anyway I could. Taking care of people is truly something from your heart. I like to help make a difference in their life to reassure them everything will be ok.
