I am a people person. I have a passion for caring for others. I think that stems from not having anyone to care for me when I needed it. I don't ever want anyone to know that feeling. What I love most about being a caregiver is the connections I make with my clients. My proudest moment in this field caring for others is the smile or acknowledgement I get when they see me. I am a 49 year old nana to 10 beautiful grandbabies. I have worked in nursing homes, and altimzers units, to lock down units. I like to read, watch movies and sing. I also have an associates degree i. Business management. I have had a cna and a medical assisgance license for over 22 years but i let it laps. I have tried other jobs from financing to repossession. Yes it may pay well but it doesnt make my heart feel the way it does when im an helling people. One thing i am most proud of is ive managed to raise 3 beautiful sons and i have had 13 foster kids. You have to patience, understanding and both sympathy and empathy to do this job. You have to care and want to help people. In the end I love the way being a crar giver feels. I love helping families take care of their loved ones so they can keep them at their home.
