I am a retired Recreation Therapist with my Master degree and 37 years of paid experience working with seniors. I have much training working with Alzheimer’s dementia. I live locally, am very kind and patient, am reliable, honest, dependable and am hard working. I can provide many activities to increase their quality of life; I also have 4 years of experience working in their home, as I am also a Certified Home Health Aide; I assist them with ADL skills, assisting them getting out of bed, getting washed, getting dressed, toiletting, eating, doing light house work, cooking, driving to appts and dispense medications. I love to help and that's why I am so great at caregiving for others. A good caregiver comes with heart for free. I love to help families and or independent people be comfortable, safe and happy at home. Unfortunately I am not rich so I need to earn a wade but my heart is 100 percent free. I love entering a home helping and moving on to the next. I just love all of the tricks inside secrets of families, maybe its a magical recipe or neat way to clean with vinegar. Maybe even just going to play bingo somewhere and or hanging out at home. I am personally proud of all of my education and being able to share it with the people who hire me. I have been in the nursing field since I was 16 in one form or another. I always knew I wanted to be a nurse because I always enjoyed helping people and I love to talk, I never meet a stranger no matter where I go , I went to RN school in Indiana and worked on the medical surgical floor and worked in surgery for a few years. I was pretty blessed and was able to stay home with my children as they grew up, so I took time off from my career was a stay at home mother but always knew I would get involved in nursing again .As my children grew up I got involved in homecare which I love, I have met such wonderful families and clients along my journey and wouldn't trade my experience for anything.

In 1999 my father in law had a stroke and it just got worse . I promised him I wouldn't let him go in a nursing home that I would take care of him . so from 1999-2017 I took care of him till he passed. I done everything for him at the end I had to change his dipiers and had to get him through a feeding tube in his stomach. I was with him 24 I lived with him . after he passed a few other people came to me and asked me to care for their loved ones it got around how good I was with my father in law. I took care a lady who had a few heart attacks and couldn't get around good . I cleaned for her made sure she took her medicine daily and checked her good sugar daily. I took her grocery shopping and what ever she needed. I privite sat with all my paients I've never been to school for any of my work .but I love my work I love all my patients they come first no matter what and I promise if you hire me to take care of your loved one you will not be disappointed
