I have about 20 years of health care experience as a CNA, home health aide, patient care assistant, resident assistant, and my last adventure was as an RN with a hospice organization in Florida. My passion is caring for others. Even as a young girl, I was very attentive toward others needs. I have always put my heart in my work and cared for my patients and clientele, as if they were family. I am very considerate and respectful of others things, personal spaces, likes and dislikes. I easily adapt to personal preferences, as I understand that we all have them. My job is to assist one, to complete their daily activities, as if they were able to do it themself. I enjoy being an uplifting and fun individual. I am a lover of the outdoors, so if one may enjoy trips outdoors, I am more than willing to accomadate. I enjoy bringing a smile to someone's face and a little light into their darkness. I love animals as well, so light animal care is fine with me as well. I am very organized and like to keep my spaces neat and clean. I am very hygiene and health oriented, as well as knowledgeable on preventing the spread of infection. My name is Jane I'm 54 years old. Recently retired from UPS in Naples Fl. I've been married for over 26 years had 2 children. I took care of my first born when he was diagnosed with Cancer until he passed away when he was 5. My daughter is 18 and attended Appalachian State. My husband works at Avery tire , retired as well after 30 years at his own shop. We are full time here in Avery County for about 5 years now. I've found my home here. As we have been coming here since 1997. Our son was diagnosed at Sloop Memorial in Crossnore which is now a Children's home. I love to garden and some wood working. I am a huge animal lover.

I have been a certified nurse assistant for almost 8 years and I love it. I never dread work and I always find myself smiling. I love caring for people and having them look at me with trust. I have 2 beautiful children who count on only me and they are also proud of what I do.

I am 47 years old. I am a mother of 6, with the youngest being 20. I am also a "Mimi" to 5 and have two rescue kitties and a big-personalitied pug named Lola. I lost both my parents young and in losing them I feel a deeper appreciation for generations older than mine and the historic and generational knowledge they hold. Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, no matter what age, and watching my father not receive the care he deserved as a disabled veteran further fuels that desire. I've cared for students age birth thru 21 with special needs for 20 years and am looking for new adventures!

I have been in the medical field for almost 14 years. Healthcare is my passion. My grandmother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was 8 years old. Everyday that I was with her, I done my best to take care of her and get her anything that she needed. She told me that I was her little nurse, and that stuck in my mind. I knew from that moment on that I wanted to be in healthcare. I enjoy taking care of people, getting to know them and doing my best to provide the care that is needed. A personal achievement that makes me most proud would be doing the heimlich maneuver on a choking Vietnam vet successfully. A couple years later his diabetes and edema got worse and he was not expected to make it much longer. I stayed with the family and done my best to make him and his family comfortable during this time and gave them as much support that I could.

I am 20 years old. I graduated from Gate City High School in 2014. I attended Scott County Technical School and took a course to become a CNA. I passed the class but never got my certification for CNA. I am CPR certified. I have a passion for taking care of people! I love being outdoors, crafting, and cooking.

I am a Physical Therapist who is changing the direction of my career. I want move outside of my PT career but continue to develop relationships with my clients and help them maximize their quality of life by providing the care they need. I have worked with most medical issues, including dementia, for many years in every setting, from hospital to skilled nursing to Homecare and have helped with toileting, feeding and all aspects of mobility. I love to have fun and find that humor and compassion make people enjoy being with me and get the most out of our time together. And I have to mention- I am a huge animal lover so any pet in the home is a bonus to me! I look forward to meeting you and providing your loved one with safe, loving and dependable care.

I have always enjoyed being a caregiver. I enjoy being able to put a smile on someone's face and knowing that I'm changing life's for the good. I started out being a caregiver to my lovely grandmother before she passed away. Seeing her smile and knowing that I made her day with the little things filled my heart with joy. She told me that this is what I was called to do and I have done it since that day. Some people that need home health care doesn't have any family around or they prefer to be in the comfort of their home. So they need a caregiver for many reason rather that be companionship or help with their home and health.

I am Christian woman. I am 45 years old. I enjoy being able to help make someone have a better quality of life. I have compassion for people who can no longer take care of things they used to.I became a caregiver because I believe that I am able to help a person who is in need of a loving and caring person who helps with anything they need.
