I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!
Hello! My name is Brayta. I am a single mother by choice to 1-year-old identical twin girls. They bring joy to whomever they meet! I'm hoping to find a sweet older lady to love on and care for. My availability is flexible and I can start immediately. I can help with personal care, administering medication, making meals, light housework, and keeping your Mom active. Building a relationship with the person I care for is a priority. I'm happy to take your Mom to doctors appts, the beauty salon(I have many fond memories of taking my grandma to get her hair done!) the grocery store, or any errands she would like. I am a safe driver with a clean driving record. I have many years of experience caring for people of all ages, but my favorite are the young, and our wonderful older generation- there is much to be learned from both! I'm an excellent multi-tasker, respectful, intelligent, dependable, patient, and have the added bonus of my daughters who will keep anyone spry and young at heart. As a single mama, I need to bring my girls with me. They are very sweet, easy going, and love people. I enjoy all these studies showing the benefit of time spent together between babies/young children and our senior generation- increased joy, decreased Alzheimer's, and prolonged life. So I hope we can discuss further your position details and see if we would be a good fit for your Mom. I promise your Mom will be in safe and loving hands with me. Thank you for your consideration!
Nursing has been such a reward in my life. I became a nurse because I had family members that became chronically ill and I wanted to be able to care for them. This is my mentality when I care for others; I approach health as a whole person mind body and soul. My goal is to improve someone's daily life whether it be a keen ability to treat medical needs or by lending a hand, being a trusting companion, a compassionate ear or a shoulder to cry on. I have practiced nursing in critical care, memory care & health maintenance. My experiences & relationships are what allow me to continue to receive so many rewards and wins in my career.
I developed a passion for care giving when my grandmother got ill and could not care for herself. That is when I truly believe that caring for those in need is truly one of my callings. Being a caregiver, really shows the difference I am actually making in an individual life, and that is what I love. I have a huge heart with a lot of love to give. I have chosen a career in the nursing field because I enjoy the feeling I get when I give to others. I am currently pursuing my career to become an RN. I have worked with a variety of people of all ages. I am an outgoing person with natural ability to provide care services with empathy. I am loving, trustworthy and dependable person.
I have precious experience in caregiving, and have had grandparents who had Alzhiemers that I helped take care of. I am currently in nursing school and have one more year until I graduate. I love caregiving and establishing a relationship with my patients. I have a passion for geriatric care and helping others.
Hi! I have a passion for working with the elderly because each person has unique characteristics to learn. I enjoy assisting each person any way I can and spreading my positive attitude. My favorite part of caregiving is providing companionship. My strengths are great customer service, strong work ethic, ( on time, alert for time off, complete all work) and professional. I have experience working with persons with dementia, cancer, and depression. I know how to take vitals. I am currently persuing my Associate's degree in Medical Assisting. One wow fact about myself is that I have developed three community programs one of which is called Lost, But God Found. It is a mentoring program through my church to assist grieving widows of either gender. To learn more about me or if you are interested in my services please see my profile.
