Retired RN with 30 years of nursing experience, currently working as client/advocate and caregiver for patients with dementia. My nursing confidence derives from my thirty years of nursing . My experience as a RN included many years as a Critical Care Nurse and as a Casemanger for Medicare and Medicaid Agencys. My father had Alzheimer's so I do know how challenging care for your family or friend can be with this disease. I also currently work as an care giver and advocate for assisted living and private community homes . My minimum charge is 17.50 hr for four hours or more with or 45.00 dollars two hour minimum . If required to travel more then 10 miles I charge 50 cents per mile to and from clients home. I am also available for private sitting for hospital care overnight or 8 hr shifts . I graduated from Texas Christian University with a BSN in nursing .
Personally I believe what makes me a great care giver is my caring and kind personality. I've dealt with many different cases and what I enjoy most either than caring for someone is making them a part of my family. I take pride and joy in being a caregiver because I never got a chance to have my own grandparents and in each case it's nice to get a chance to share each different experience with a client that either needs love, companionship, comfort or even a little help. My greatest achievement is honestly being able to still be caring, pateint and loving and treating each case personally.
I am a passionate and reliable caregiver possessing over 15 years professional experience. Committed to providing the highest quality care to the geriatric and disabled community. It brings great satisfaction to be able to maintain/sustain a degree of independence for clients, companionship and being able to provide a alternative care for clients in home. I became a caregiver from the advice of a uncle, who told me that I was a natural caregiver during the time of taking care of my grandparents. One of the most personal achievable things I'm most proud of in caregiving is maintaining skin integrity without any breakdowns or bedsores of any client.

Hello, I have experience as both a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Certified Medication Aide. In 2010 I was awarded 'Clinical Employee of the Month' at Crowley Nursing & Rehab after only six months working there. For the past five years and eight months, I have been working at a polysomnography clinic performing sleep studies for all kinds of patients. I have excellent references and my patients always request me to take care of them when they have to come back to the clinic. I am proud of my work and love what I do. The reason I am leaving my current job is that I can no longer work the night shift and because I will be moving to Irving soon. Next year I will be attending Minnesota University online to finish my accounting degree. After that, I will be applying for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Texas Woman's University. I am caring, honest and reliable. Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Well a little about me. I'm a mother of two kiddos. A boy and a girl whom I love dearly. I went to college at NCTC to study cosmetology and it was fun while it lasted but that's not what my soul was made out for, I started caregiving back in highschool when you could go to work and still earn credits for school. I worked for SkyView living center and we took care of kids with special needs and I feel in love with being able to give someone a helping hand in their time of need. Ive been doing ever since. I wouldn't change it for the world. Please feel free to call my references Cheryl Thomas 940-594-9729 Katrina McPearson 940-435-2225
I love providing home caregiving service to those that would otherwise not able to do so. The smile on their faces is overhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I like best about care giving is meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. Special qualities I bring to my work as an in home caregiver is, I always give 100% and do the best job I can with no exceptions or excuses. I also try bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.Dementia and Alzheimer was my clients.
