I'm a very hard worker dedicated to providing the best care and companionship possible. My background is in social work. I've worked in hospice, home health and previously as a nursing assistant. My previous work as been as a social worker for the state department of child protective services and recently as a youth care worker. I love to read and get to know the life stories of who and why we are who we are.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I enjoy every minute of being a caregiver. I love helping patients in need . Cooking their favorite meals, making their day everyday and making them feel like my own family.[?]

I've been a caregiver for 16years. I am caring and companionate. I like to treat people with dignity and respect. I find great joy in helping others. I find it to be my passion and calling to help others and be of some confort to them.

I enjoy helping others to be the healthiest and happiest version of themselves. Having worked as a volunteer Fire Fighter and an Ambulance Attendant I became aware of the needs of injured individuals and the concerns of their family members. Some years after that I became the provider for my own family member who had dementia so experiencing that made me realize that I can be compassionate and care for others as I did for her.

I am retired from the State of Texas after 26 years and have extensive experience working with children and the elderly. I worked with the Dept. of Aging and Disability and would like to continue working with the elderly or disabled after my retirement. I love helping people and have the much needed experience in doing so. I have much experience in monitoring providers in homes who provide daily assistance with day to day tasks for adults. So am very much aware of how a job needs to be done in the home of a client. I also have years of experience taking care of my mother who has alzheimers and is now in a nursing home. Would love to inquire if I can work with her and other patients who may need some assistance in what you all provide.

I have a great personality, good listener, I enjoy sharing my time with the elderly patients hearing them talk about the past . Ienjoy knowing that I have the ablity to help someone in need. I am proud that with the people that I have help[ed in the past I still have contact with some of them and still am able to help them. That is what i am most proud of that they still look for me.

I am a people person..I have 25 years of service working on the social work field including adults with special needs..i am kind..considerate and caring. I have always been a caregiver.... I enjoy helping others.

I started caring for family (my grandmother) from there I found a passion is helping others who are in need of a caring hand. Helping others who need extra assistance to stay in their home makes me feel like I'm giving back to others. Being able to keep people home as long as possible is the best feeling for being a caregiver .
