As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I've been a caregiver for 16years. I am caring and companionate. I like to treat people with dignity and respect. I find great joy in helping others. I find it to be my passion and calling to help others and be of some confort to them.

I enjoy helping others to be the healthiest and happiest version of themselves. Apart from providing services to my clients, I think of putting myself in their shoes to further understand and help their needs. I became a caregiver because I like to help people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is I get to meet new people. Something that I am proud of is that I love to keep a positive attitude no matter what is going on in my own personal life. I have managed finances, my home, and volunteered in the military community as a former Navy wife and Support Group President/Ombudsman for the USS Camden. I am successfully raising 5 daughters and a son all while earning an Associates and I'm in the process of completing a Bachelors. I am strong, independent, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, without bias, career focused, goal oriented and determined to succeed. I try and set the example for my children and learn from my mistakes to constantly improve myself not only in my personal life but my work environment as well. I am easy to train, eager to learn, always on time. I have learned to do what I thought was impossible and will continue to develop skills to greatly benefit any future career. I am a people person..I have 25 years of service working on the social work field including adults with special needs..i am kind..considerate and caring. I have always been a caregiver.... I enjoy helping others.

I started caring for family (my grandmother) from there I found a passion is helping others who are in need of a caring hand. Helping others who need extra assistance to stay in their home makes me feel like I'm giving back to others. But the reason why I became a Caregiver is because I saw how my grandfather who was cared for in a nursing home , it was ugly. When i left there i vowed to become a caregiver and impact as many lives as i could . Also , I Had already wanted to become a Nurse and i said i wanted to first become a Caregiver to understand and test the waters to see if i could handle the Good, Bad and Ugly. But what i enjoy most about being a caregiver is the Wisdom and smiles i receive as I take care of the ones who need me.

I became a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I find that I can help many people with the care i can provide..knowing I can help someone is such a great feeling and joy. A Long goal term achievement was to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. I certified myself in 2006 as a CNA and got the job I knew I longed for. I have provided Senior care since then on and off. I continued in the medical profession for 4 years and also provided Private & Elderly care in between.Now i find myself recertifying for nursing assistant and completing my course to be able to become licenced once again at what I feel I do best.
