i am a 37 year old woman with 2 children in the age range of 12 and 17. i became a caregiver because of the fact i love helping people when they are in need. i like being able to just help. my grandmother has Alzheimer since 2002 she moved here with us when it got to much for her to be by herself in Chicago and i have been caring for her since i got to get alot of certificates in alot of different diseases

Hi there! My name is Victoria but I go by Tori! I am 27 years old and have been in a caregiver setting for most of my life! From a very young age I've loved helping others and that is still very much the case now. I did daycare for a majority of my late teenage years and into early adults years before I then moved to working with adults with disabilities. I then chose to spend my days helping care for a family member in their home and that's what really helped me find my love for being an in-home caregiver. I love being given a chance to help people on a daily basis is so rewarding. Showing a person that you have their back, and they can put trust in you to do all the correct things. God want us to love, and help one another. I became a CNA to give more training so I can help others better. Scene changes in a person by helping a person on a daily basis that couldn't do it on their own it's rewarding by seeing how happy they are.

I help with transportation, ADLs, working w/in dietary needs, running errands, light housekeeping, organizing, shopping, meal prep, time management, end of life and companionship, etc. I love helping people become the best they can be.
