My name is Hanna Besterman. I have so much respect and love towards older generation. When I was young my Polish grandma was my mentor, idol and love of my life. It was my honor that last 5 years of her life I could take care of her and make her comfortable in my apartment in Poland. I always felt connected to older generation. I deeply believe with my whole heart that they deserve our patience, our dedication and our best care with compassion, love and and always with smile ... and optimism. My passion thruout my entire life was and still is helping and supporting the most vulnerable individuals. My professional background is speech pathologist. For more then 20 years I have worked with individuals who suffered from aphasia, memory lost, mental health problems, blindness, vision impairments, , intellectual and physical disabilities. I am very proud of helping my patients to be able to improve their quality of life and be part of the community. Top of that I have a lots of energy and much love in me,to give to elderly person. My education and life experience gave me the knowledge, the skills to be a great care taker. I am also trustworthy, kind, easy going and very positive person. I am bio languages - English and Polish. My schedule is flexible, I have my own vehicle. My personality is open, warm and fun. I love pets.

I am a senior nursing student at IUP, and I will be graduating in may. I am very compassionate and love the field of work I am in. I have experience with caring for the elderly, as I was a caregiver for my neighbor back in High School. Since I am a senior student I have completed all areas of nursing (I will be in Psychiatrics and community nursing this upcoming semester). I am stroke and CPR certified, and also have general and military background checks and clearances. Upon graduation I will be a Active Duty Nurse in the Army. My is Tadhg O Isin Burk I am a young but a fast to learn Caregiver with more then a few different titles under my belt I have a Medical Background as a PCT and Years of Emergency Care as a Fireman. What Attracted me the most to this type of work is I Love people and when I was young I lost someone very close to me who lost their battle with Cancer ever since then I wanted to provide as much comfort as I can to those going threw the same experience. I love Every part of being a Care Giver the Part I love the most would be building a relationship with the Family and the Patient. I become a caregiver in order to be in solidarity with those who cannot do by themselves by assisting them with the daily activities such as bathing,grooming,dressing,feeding,mobilityaand transportation. What l like about being a caregiver is that it's a humbling job keeping in mind that what l do for others one day one time it will be done to me .It is an educational job that l have to do for somebody what l would like to be done to me.It is a rewarding job.
