I have been a caregiver for 14 years . I have 10 years Alzheimer's and Dementia experience . I have worked in Memory Care, Assisted Living, Hospice Care and Skilled Nursing Units . What sparked my interest in becoming a Caregiver was Helping Others . I always put others before myself . I have a Special Needs daughter who I have learned patience through . As the CD's played soft music of old hymns and after praying and reading scripture to her for several days; I experienced her smile and hand on my cheek, just before the angels escorted her from this world into Glory.
