I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have extensive experience in almost every area providing care for this population. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I have a degree in Psychology from CSUS that I earned in 1983. If there's something new I'm not familiar with, I'm more than willing to learn. I love to cook and most likely can make almost anything up on request. I'm always willing to do house cleaning and laundry. I take pride in my work and always go above and beyond what is expected of me. I enjoy conversing with those I provide care for, they always have such interesting memories and history. My mission is to always treat my clients with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. I also work at the San Juan Unified School District with Autistic preschool children which requires much energy, patience and understanding. I am also fully vaccinated. I am a friendly, outgoing person who has a big heart for seniors and enjoys helping them to live life to its fullest. What's most important to me are relationships and living a life of love for God and for one another. I especially enjoy my conversations with seniors-I love their stories. I like to help them get out in nature, enjoy a mind challenging game or cook their favorite meal. I'm available for transportation needs, shopping, meal planning, cooking , walks, light exercise, very,very light housekeeping, misc. and medication reminders.

Hello my name is Christine I have been a care giver my whole life ..I started out by taking care of a little girl with spinabifada for 3 years she was a neighbor. I watched Francesca from a new born till 3 in a half...She had lots of surgeries shunt put in and replaced ...she had to use a cathiter couldn't really walk did lots of physical therapy with her...I loved taking care of her ..I follow her on Facebook still..she is 35 now...Then I took care of my mother , brothers and little sister my mom has had lots of medical problems..I use to take care of a little girl name Mary and her sister but Mary had Ceribal Palsy she required alot of care watch her 40 hours aweek well her mom was in nursing school...Then I took care of a man in his 70s who was legally blind...I cooked and cleaned for him took him shopping read his mail for him ..I raised 4 children 3 boys and my beautiful daughter I adopted from Russia...I took care of my grandma who lived with me for 8 years...She had a stroke and dragged her foot alittle she passed away 5 years ago...I started working at All for u home care because I love and need to take care of people.. Taking care of someone gives me purpose and makes me happy ...

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. My 40 plus years as a licensed Hairstylist has given me alot of people skills. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I know GOD is using me in a beautiful way. I do my best to follow instructions given and make sure my clients needs are met. I stay focused on the job I'm doing. I'm adaptable . I am respectful and I expect the same in return. A personal achievement I am proud of is how I strive to continue to heal from adversity, grow personally and strive to accomplish the goals I set for myself.
