Love working with elderly people giving my time to helping others get the best quality of life. Working with the elderly is like walking through a chapter in history. I wanted to make a difference in elderly lives.

I am a friendly, outgoing person who has a big heart for seniors and enjoys helping them to live life to its fullest. What's most important to me are relationships and living a life of love for God and for one another. I especially enjoy my conversations with seniors-I love their stories. I like to help them get out in nature, enjoy a mind challenging game or cook their favorite meal. I'm available for transportation needs, shopping, meal planning, cooking , walks, light exercise, very,very light housekeeping, misc. and medication reminders.

I am a very compassionate, patient, and nurturing person. I have the skills and experience in home health care. I am very passionate when it comes to helping the elderly stay in their own home. I enjoy making a positive difference in my clients life. Mostly I enjoy the little bonding moments that I share with my clients. I am personally proud of the person I have become and my choice of becoming a care giver.

I worked for Extended Care facilities for a number of years as a CNA, and I didn't feel fulfilled. As an nursing assistant I had 15 or more patients, and I didnt feel as though they were receiving the care, and attention that they deserved. Being a caregiver with CareLinx affords me the luxury of being able to take care patients in way that they truly deserve. I've done this for 25+ years and I really enjoy spending time with the seniors while I provide for their daily needs.

I Enjoy making people's lives easier for them. Making sure that they have their dignity and still feel that they are in charge of their own home. Not go in and take over. Having a good relationship with who I help means so much. The reason in 1990 that I became a Caregiver was My Mom had breast cancer and I wanted to be the best I could be to take care of her. After My Mom passed away in 1993. I went back to another profession until 2008, since then I have had many Sweet Clients that will always be in My Heart[?] I am a Spoiler but know that whatever the Family and Professionals recommend is what should be done, and am Happy to fulfill what the needs are for this Special Client

I have decided to get back in the work field. I've been working part time and ready to go back full time! now that my son is older and I'm ready to get out there and do what I love! I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I have a degree in Psychology from CSUS that I earned in 1983. If there's something new I'm not familiar with, I'm more than willing to learn. I love to cook and most likely can make almost anything up on request. I'm always willing to do house cleaning and laundry. I take pride in my work and always go above and beyond what is expected of me. I enjoy conversing with those I provide care for, they always have such interesting memories and history. My mission is to always treat my clients with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. I also work at the San Juan Unified School District with Autistic preschool children which requires much energy, patience and understanding. I am also fully vaccinated.
