Since being young I have always enjoyed helping and caring for others. While working in a care center with mentally ill adults for 17 years, I loved the ability to provide normalcy and genuine healthy friendships to the clients I served. I am the type of person who shows up to work and offers a high level of care at which I would desire if in their position one day. To me, it is important that no matter what disability, each person is treated with dignity, respect, and encouraged to be as independent as possible. I am proud that through my 17 years of caring for others, I have acquired great ability to communicate and have understanding with others who have difficulty expressing needs & emotions.
I am a graduate nurse awaiting to take my nursing board exam. I love caring for people especially those who needs help to perform the ADL that they could have done perfectly and unaided. am black, 5.8'' tall, with good sense of humor, full of respect, hardworking, outstanding in nursing care and love. caring is my passion and hobby, leaving my clients with smile all daylong
I became a Nursing Assistant because I believe that there are a lot of people out there that take this job (caregiving of any sort) for granted. In this type of position I take pride in caring for my patients. I think of it as if it were myself needing the help, how would I want to be cared for..? And that is what drives me to always do better and stick up for my patients. I love being able to make a positive difference in someones life, even if it is as simple as helping them from wheelchair to bed and giving them a sense of independence in the transfer. I have primarily worked with Alzheimers/Dementia patients and brain trauma/spinal cord patients in my practice and this has given me a very wide range of tips and tricks that I can apply to any form of care. I can promise that I will always give you my absolute best work if we become partners on this journey!

I discovered early in life that my caregiver attributes came naturally to me which I inherited from my grandmother whom had a heart as big as the great outdoors. She instilled qualities in me that I posses to this day. I believe being an outstanding caregiver requires compassion, empathy, and dedication to the job. I interact with my clients in a special way that not just anyone can. I fully enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that my care has personally contributed to an improved quality of life for my clients. For those whom know me best, I am considered to be very easy going, down to earth, patient, and kind. Although I do enjoy lots of laughter, I do take what I do as a Care Provider very seriously. In that I maintain a professional work ethic, punctuality, reliability, accountability, conscientiousness, courtesy, respectfulness, honesty, and cooperativeness. I believe in implementing the golden rule into my daily life. Personally speaking, it saddens me to see that not too many people do that anymore. It is my sincere message to all that anyone in need of care can and will be placed with a professional who will far exceed your expectations and provide all that you desire in your care giving needs. Sincerely, Christine Priddy
