I am an AAMA certified medical assistant. I am currently employed with Scripps Health, and looking for in home caregiving opportunities. I am punctual, reliable, hardworking, and will treat your loved one like my own family. My mother had spina bifida and ESRD, so I am well versed in home health care and what it entails. As a CMA I am fully vaccinated (including the Covid vaccine) and CPR certified. I am particularly interested in night shifts. I am experienced in hospice care, memory care, senior care, and all aspects of assistance. I have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, and I am willing to help transport your loved one for errands, doctors' visits, and anything else they might need. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from my degree program, and was hired immediately by the organization I externed with following my program completion, so that is something I'm really proud of! I have a huge heart for others and would love to assist your family.

I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.

I bacame a caregiver because I like to help people and also to meet new people. You learn something new everyday. I like that you get to spend one on one time with a person and to get to know them more. I enjoy what I do, I am also cpr/first aid certified and recently bcame a DSP. Hi, I first became a caregiver because I wanted to know what it was like helping someone in need. After my first client I realized how much I love being a caregiver. I enjoy everything about my job. I feal very lucky and blessed to have found my calling. I love learning new things especially if they are medical related. I have done case management in a residential home which included scheduling appointments, ordering medications and/or medical equipment, Interview and training new caregivers and weekly meal planning. I have worked with patients with COPD, hoyer lift,MS,Dementia and Alzheimer's and skin cancer treatments. I have also experience in hospice care. The bond that I create with my clients is a wonderfull experience. I like to bake and try new recepies. On my spare time I like to go shopping, do arts and crafts, read non fiction books and watch movies. Oh and I recently started painting.! I think everyone has something unique about themselves and what ever their talent is or was I like to get inspired by it and try new things.
