Caregiving is my passion it all started when I was a kid all in just wanting to fix my grandfather who had dementia and PTS . I looked after him until I finished school . As so my mom took over and I went to Cali to take on my dream full time .. I have worked with asl patients , Quadriplegic , dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health as well as kids . I started off with independent care and later moving on to facilities as well as obtaining my med tech . Later on had to go back to take care of my grandfather and mom who recently passed away now I take care of my mom and moved her out to live with me in Escondido . Now I really would like to get back to independent care one on one. I love getting to know my client and all of there values in life it will forever be my passion. Last COVID test 6/15/24

I bacame a caregiver because I like to help people and also to meet new people. You learn something new everyday. I like that you get to spend one on one time with a person and to get to know them more. I enjoy what I do, I am also cpr/first aid certified and recently bcame a DSP. I am very patient, friendly, caring, and fun to get along with and very easy going.

Hello..first off I want to express my belief and reasons for why I'm in this field. People of all ages need assistance. .whether it be temporary or permanent. I have been there when it has come to having babies (they grown now) after surgery, or a long time position of assistant. I love what I do, I have compassion for the hurting and patience. I have references for that :) I'm a License massage therapist that believes even touch heals. Whether young or old. I have sense of humor..don't mind in repeating myself a million times ( that's the patience I have ) when it comes to alziemers Love to stay busy,love to read,LOVE TO COOK, I am a believer In Jesus Christ! my children are grown now,I am a grandma..I schedule my time with my family on my daysoff. Prefer to be on a consistent schedule so it doesn't cause confusion to my client or outside life. Dependable..never late ( I have proof from clients :) ) And can be in most cases..flexible. I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.
