I've been working in this field now for over 30 years and I get a joy out of helping others.I became a caregiver after completing school in 1989 . I immediately began to work in my profession.I like being a caregiver because the Heavenly Father has blessed me to have a love for it.I'm 50 years of age I'm a minister, I'm a wife and a mother. I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

I have been a CNA since 2007. I have worked with Hospice, Hospitals, Rehab Nursing Facilities, and Skill Nursing. I am a peoples person, I am blessed by GOD to have a caring spirit.

I Love being a caregiver, because I love being there for families that can't be there for there loves all the time, they don't understand what is going on to there love one mentally or physically. I'm very patient and understanding with my clients.I enjoy making a difference in someone's life, I am proud of going home after my shift knowing I put my client at ease and made their life a little less difficult for that day.
