I enjoy working in a home setting as I am an upbeat and positive person that believes a person is happier and more comfortable being cared for in their on environment. I am detail oriented. I enjoy making someones day better. Giving a person respect and dignity is very important to me. I feel the most important achievement that I have done in this field was helping a family of three at the same time with extensive duties and fulfilling all their needs. My other achievement is having 2 beautiful grown daughters and grandsons. I would like to ad that I am articulate about my work and getting it done in a timely manner and don't believe in taking shortcuts. I am also a great companion. I love to read even out loud! I am also good at writing correspondence for someone if its need. I am also very compassionate. I am also willing to travel to a job if it is an overnight situation . I have a food handlers card for Arizona and have also passed an online caregiver course with high score. I am willing to work in an overnight situation or even travel to areas for working a live in situation.

What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just the one on one care I get to my clients because they become my family what I love most is that I learn every day love makes a difference. I've been a caregiver for about 10 plus years I'm a mom to an amazing daughter who's going to school to be an EMT I come from a family that is in the medical field my sister is a retired firefighter . I became a Caregiver in 1991 when my grandma needed someone, tough me to be understating and caring to each one needs. Everyone said I have a HEART OF GOLD.

I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. I became a care giver back in 1996 for an elderly couple,whom i adored. so i decided to become a nurse aid/certified care giver, I was living in ohio at the time .then i worked in several homes with the elderly and ive worked for different nursing agencies.and hospitals. ive pretty much covered all areas. from dementia to Alzheimer's to special needs to lock down( mental) units , i have greatly enjoyed helping people and putting smiles on many peoples faces about myself i love to go fishing 4 wheeling, the beach and most of all spending time with my family. I have recently relocated to kingman, from north carolina and i am excited and ready to meet new people. and( I have) and will drive up to an hour and a half a day for your loved ones care . i really enjoy my work, and meeting new people and learning about their cultures and backgrounds

I have been a caregiver or certified nurse aide for many years. I like the job because I get to work with a variety of people with varied backgrounds. I like giving good care and making people happy and feel better. Being a CNA allowed me flexibility to work and raise my children. At many jobs I was promoted to shift lead or other positions. I am an on time kind of person. I know people rely on me and I am responsible.

As early as the 4th grade I preferred to be around the elderly. Everyday after school and during the summer was spent with Grandma and papa. Grandma and I would talk and watch big valley, Then I would walk papa to the store since he could not see. From there I took classes for activity director and help jobs both private and in group homes. The elderly have so much to share and only want to be treated with kindness and dignity. I have also held a job as a back office nursing assistant. I love being around people, However the elderly hold a special place for me. I have done some hospice. and post operation care. It is important to make them comfortable.
