I enjoy caring for people & I am great at it! I have worked with geriatrics, infants, children, quadriplegic, amputees, & many more people with multiple issues. I have worked as a PCA, certified Medical Assistant, & volunteered in nursing homes. I have a lot of experience within this field for what ever help is needed. I have lived in Arizona since 2003, born & raised in Minnesota. Technical college diploma 2003, certification test completed in 2010, & 12 years working in a clinical setting. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just the one on one care I get to my clients because they become my family what I love most is that I learn every day love makes a difference. I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. This is what I enjoy most about my field of work. I am a great listener and pay much attention to their needs, and their care, and am a very effective communicator. I love being a caregiver.

I get along with all clients in respect to their beliefs. Open and honest with the best care I am able to provide. Laughter is great medicine. My daughter Ashley was born with Hydrocephylis and Cerebral palsy which required 24/7 loving care for 15 years. I enjoy caring for patients who rely on the best care and allowing them to continue to live life with laughter and not focus on their challenges. I am proud of completing the necessary courses to be a caregiver outside of my personal endeavors. I am also a Certified Food Handler and have completed 88 classroom hours under ALCTP-0017 CC Health care Training on September 2015. Retired RN recently moved to AZ. Been in medical field over 30 years and am looking to continue patient care.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 10 years now. I have experience in a hospital setting, nursing home setting, private care, hospice and home health. I absolutely love helping others and those who need assistance. It is rewarding for me to see a smile on my client's face. I am very knowledgeable in medical equipment and transferring. Some of the most interesting and wise people I've come across have actually been those whom I've helped!

I have been a caregiver or certified nurse aide for many years. I like the job because I get to work with a variety of people with varied backgrounds. I like giving good care and making people happy and feel better. Being a CNA allowed me flexibility to work and raise my children. At many jobs I was promoted to shift lead or other positions. I am an on time kind of person. I know people rely on me and I am responsible.

As early as the 4th grade I preferred to be around the elderly. Everyday after school and during the summer was spent with Grandma and papa. Grandma and I would talk and watch big valley, Then I would walk papa to the store since he could not see. From there I took classes for activity director and help jobs both private and in group homes. The elderly have so much to share and only want to be treated with kindness and dignity. I have also held a job as a back office nursing assistant. I love being around people, However the elderly hold a special place for me. I have done some hospice. and post operation care. It is important to make them comfortable.
