What makes me a good caregiver is i like to sit down and listen to the individual and the family to find out their concerns and fears and how they want things to be. I respect all rights and will not over step my boundary. I'm a good listener and companion. I became a care giver after taking care of my grandma while she battled with cancer. It was a hard and emotional time but after she passed. I learned that we became closer and during that hard time we also had many good times. So in the end results i became a care giver to become a companion and to help others when help is needed.

I'm currently a volunteer for southern kern school district, I'm board approved I got background clearance to be with school district in rosamond, I used to take care of my grandmother who had diabetes, I'm a very trustworthy person, I can clean cook etc , I have a clean driving record as well , I'm willing to go extra miles to make my clients fell comfortable and happy .

I enjoy being a caregiver. I am lighthearted, compassionate, empathetic, caring and understanding. I started caregiving over 20 years ago, for my grandfather. That's when I knew this was meant for me. This deepened my commitment to the field of caregiving. I became a foster parent 6 years ago, I have been able to be a part of so many lives and such diverse situations. I find helping others in need self rewarding. This is what I love to do.

What do you like about being a great Caregiver? I am a very compassionate person when taking care of the Seniors, listening to them while we have our conversations, having a good laugh once in awhile, seeing them happy and listen to their history in life. That is history I or anyone would not know of because it's not in our history books in their hearts of history and their life. Being a great caregiver is to listen, laugh have a good understanding about them and their families. Why did you become a Caregiver? I became a Caregiver because I love helping others out who can't do for themselves and I love being able to help with actives that they want to do. Listening to them talk about their families and the ones they can't spend time because they live far and their families are unable to visit. I would be there to cheer them up and help them enjoy their days. What do you like about being a Caregiver? What I like about being a caregiver is enjoying a good conversation with the Senior's. Listen to their history in life. Things I would've never known. Helping out with laundry or being able to cook together, do a jigsaw puzzle or watch tv with them. Seeing the Senior's happy and content and they are always happy. What personal achievement you are proud of? Is being able to help getting families together and knowing that your are always love no matter who you are.

Since I was a little girl taking care of my grandmother I knew I was ment to take care of people . I enjoy helping and finding solutions for families who need help . I have worked in assisted living facilities. I am also an IHSS provider . Providing care for your love ones is my greatest acmoplishment . I insure there safety , and improve the quality of life . I take pride in my work with seniors and developmentally disabled Adults .

The thing that makes me a great care given is that I'm a very loving compassionate and patient person I've been a CNA for over 17 years and wouldn't change it for nothing in the world I've experienced all different types of walks of life in this profession the most rewarding thing about my job is the feeling that I have made someone's day a little easier

I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. Most of my experience has been with clients with Dementia / Alzheimer's. As I begin a new assignment I get to know everything about the client. I contact the treating physician, family members, palliative team, etc., and prepare for every conceivable eventuality. I drive my clients to appointments, assist with incontinence and constipation issues, bathing and exercise. I prepare simple meals, do the laundry, keep the house clean and shop for groceries. I make my clients feel loved and appreciated. I've done the TB test and completed a First-Aid/CPR course. I have submitted to a complete background check and am registered with the California Dept. of Social Services. I'm responsible, reliable and dedicated. References available.

I am very friendly and patient , I enjoy talking with people . And a very good listener. I was introduced to it years ago, by chance . I meant Sybil Brand years ago while working as a summer model when I was a teenager. She asked me if I could be a Companion and Driver to her Husband Harry . It was a summer Job , 50 years later after working Clerical Work . My Daughter was killed in a car crash. After staying home for 6 Years I decided I wanted to work , so I apply with a agency Beverly Hills , I was hired by Miss Watson . I enjoy and get alone with people in general . but I am very intuitive to older people always have been . That I raised 2 wonderful daughters. And had a wonderful Marriage , also that i always had wonderful employers . I am willing to give my best no matter what it is . I cared for my husband when he was very sick , and it was the best thing ever . And i also kept Miss Watson Dog alive for 3 years longer by helping him regain his hind quarters with soup make with glucosamine , well before it was given to pets.
