I started caregiving for elderly and disabled in high school for family friends for several families . I later was a pharmacy technician for many years and worked as a care taker for several of my customers. I was chosen because I was reliable, patient and treated them like they were my family.

My husband works as a truck driver delivering dry wall. I work in Special Education at a middle school. I love people , children and animals. I also run a small cleaning business for private homes . I have many people who can provide references to my character and skills. I pride myself in being responsible , trust worthy , punctual and caring . I love helping others.

Hello my name is Valerie some things about me is I do love my job as a caregiver I've been doing it for a few years now . What I enjoy about this type of work is fainting that relationship with my clients, being able to develop that trust and understanding with them is my favorite part of the job.what attracted me to this type of job is my grandma developed dementia a few years ago so that was one reason . But I enjoy being in the medical field and helping people and being able to make my clients smile. Some of my personality traits that make me the great caretaker I am today is I've very empathetic and I like to treat my clients as family and make that extra step to make sure I learn how they like things done and what they enjoy doing.
