Hi, my name is Cindy and I live in Kelseyville, CA. I've been a caregiver for 20 years.

I'm a very caring person and have a passion for taking care of others, especially the elderly. I have been working as a Cna or caregiver since I was 18 and have always loved it. I had bladder cancer twice but beat it again this year and am now trying to find work again. My CNA License is expired due to me being sick with Cancer but I would like to do the classes and get it back now that I'm no longer sick. I've also taken several early childhood development classes as well as medical billing classes at Mendocino College.

I am 40 yrs of age. I have been a caregiver for over 6 yrs and I really love what I do. I love to help people, I am passionate and hardworking. What I really love about being a caregiver is that it enables me to interact with different people from all aspects of life and carer is something that I strongly feel that flows naturally through me.

Some personality traits or expertise that I have that helped me be a great caregiver is being a good listener , being patient, and also knowing when to step away when needed. What attracted me to being a caregiver was that growing up I always took cared of my grandparents so once I got older and started looking for a job I applied at a inhome care job and feel in love with help people that need help , I also grow a big relationship with them and love knowing I can make someone day a lot better by just being there and helping them with there day to day lives.
