Hi my name is Ayla Campos. Some traits that make me a great caregiver are that I'm beyond caring and focused on helping people with their everyday needs. It's definitely one of the most rewarding jobs I've had. I've known since I was little that I wanted to do anything that helped others. I've always loved being there and helping others.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

My name is Lilly, I have been a cna for 5 going on 6 years. I wanted to become a cna because I love helping and taking care of other people. I want to be a caregiver because it allows you more one on one time with your patients.

I have experience with Asthma, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Disability, Developmental Delay, Speech Delay, ADHD, ODD, Dyslexic. I have my Core A and Core B in Med Administration and Diet Textures, First aid and CPR experience, HHA experience, CNA exsperince, DSP exsperince.

I try to connect with a person through their hobbies. I also feel like having a down to earth trying to understand a person personality helps as well. I live in the country, I put out a garden, I help can, I have put on garage sales, I enjoy flee markets. I enjoy history. Being all around knowledgeable for a few things, and willing to learn about others helps out greatly. I enjoy keeping the person stories alive, and seeing them smile, and appreciate the little things. My personal achievement is when the client calls me there angel or sweetheart, and they explain in there words how I help them, manage through there chores, or ADL's I have worked with many companies, and only a few I can mention. I worked for my first private client this year. I really enjoyed it. I do have references,

I am a mother of 3 my oldest having type 1 diabetes. I grew up taking care of people. My grandfather, whom I lived with growing up was diagnosed with terminal cancer when I was 3. He had passed shortly after my 5th bday. There were nurses in and out and the entire family took short classes to provide daily care for him. I have wanted to become a nurse since then.

My Mother was Ill from having cancer this is why i became a Caregiver........ I love being a Caregiver I am going on my 9th year as a Certified Home Health Aide. I LOVE My job and the satisfaction I get from Helping others achieve their goals...One Client I took care of had a stroke well when i took over giving this lady her care me and her decided to continue with her physical therapy ( Just rountine excerices and range & Motion on her left arm & leg ( which was partially paralyzed)..well after 2 months of continuous exercises SHE could use her left hand and actually grip the bar in the Shower! We were so proud to show her husband and Family what Her & I accomplished with a little love and compassion.... she became like My 2nd Momma and she told me i was her Angel girl so with that I love my job . for me I am Family oriented I have 4 living children 9 grandchildren (10th due in August) and 1 great grandson im dependable accurate and very compassionate and just simply love Life!

I enjoy caring for and helping the elderly, as well as others who might need assistance. I have been a home health care for about 12 years. I was also CNA certified for 6 years. I have experience especially with Dementia /Alzheimer's , cancer patients and paraplegic patients. I love my job because I feel that the elderly deserve the upmost respect and I strongly believe they deserve the best quality of care.

I became a caregiver because, I enjoy helping the elderly preform tasks that they are no longer able to preform on their own. I am personally proud of being able to do for and help my clients do the things that they need to have done. I am a very dependable person and really enjoy every aspect of this job.

I became a caregiver at first just because it was a job. Now that Ive been doing it for a few years, I like to think that I make a difference in some ones life. Even if Im helping a client with every day activities, Im helping.
