I have 20 years of experience in the medical/nursing field. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and agencies and have found that in home care is the field best suited for me. I tend to be drawn toward Alzheimer/dementia patients as I'm learning my approach in care, they tend to respond to me best. I have worked with several families and helped to restore certain independence to patients with walking, dressing, feeding themselves. I ran a restorative therapy program for over two years in a nursing facility before deciding to take a home care position with an agency.

I love taking care of others. I love ensuring my patients families that they are in the best hands possible. I am passionate about my patients health, and their overall well-being. I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

I've been doing different types of caregiving for over 30 now and I feel it's my calling. I absolutely love taking care of people. Especially the elderly.

I am a very caring, responsible and respectful caregiver. I love to help those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help patients live life to their full capabilities and help them with their daily needs.

I became a caregiver almost 6 yrs ago after becoming a Medical Assistant. I have taken care of many different families and helped them with their parents needs. I have become like family with the people I have cared for. I have a genuine compassion for helping others and do this work with love in my heart. I treat others as I would want my own parents treated or myself.

The most rewarding things about being a caregiver is the fact that I will be able to help others on a daily basis. My Mother was Ill from having cancer this is why i became a Caregiver........ I love being a Caregiver I am going on my 9th year as a Certified Home Health Aide. I LOVE My job and the satisfaction I get from Helping others achieve their goals...One Client I took care of had a stroke well when i took over giving this lady her care me and her decided to continue with her physical therapy ( Just rountine excerices and range & Motion on her left arm & leg ( which was partially paralyzed)..well after 2 months of continuous exercises SHE could use her left hand and actually grip the bar in the Shower! We were so proud to show her husband and Family what Her & I accomplished with a little love and compassion.... she became like My 2nd Momma and she told me i was her Angel girl so with that I love my job . for me I am Family oriented I have 4 living children 9 grandchildren (10th due in August) and 1 great grandson im dependable accurate and very compassionate and just simply love Life!

I am a very loving and compassionate person in general, and especially with the elderly and disabled. I've been working as a CNA/HHA for roughly 6/7 years. My mom was a CNA for roughly 25 years, working as a caregiver is all I've ever really known. I love this field of work and I couldn't see myself ever doing any other type of job other than healthcare!
