I have 20 years of experience in the medical/nursing field. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and agencies and have found that in home care is the field best suited for me. I tend to be drawn toward Alzheimer/dementia patients as I'm learning my approach in care, they tend to respond to me best. I have worked with several families and helped to restore certain independence to patients with walking, dressing, feeding themselves. I ran a restorative therapy program for over two years in a nursing facility before deciding to take a home care position with an agency.

I love taking care of others. I love ensuring my patients families that they are in the best hands possible. I am passionate about my patients health, and their overall well-being. I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

Something I would say that would make me a great caregiver would be I most definitely love helping people and I'm a very easy person to talk to and I love to listen something that attracts me I'm being a caregiver is I most definitely like to help people and when they're smiling it's making my day something I enjoy about being a caregiver is it's very rewarding and you learn a lot of wisdom and a personal achievement I would be proud of would be succeeding in life and living the best life I can

Caregiving has been my lifelong job and passion. I have spent 28 years raising a family of 6 children, 3 of which are still at home. Putting the needs of others first has always been a priority for me. In most recent years I have chosen to add caregiving to my life and continued with my career as a business owner and professor's assistant. I have chosen to do this because I feel I can always give just a bit more. My degrees in Psychology and Human Services have given me a solid understanding of human behavior and just how fragile we can be in times of need. Giving back to my community in the form of caregiving gives me the opportunity to make a difference in a person and family's life. I believe I am patient, caring, compassionate, trustworthy and I aspire to make a difference. I have also used those attributes in the positions I have held. As a professor's assistant I have the opportunity to be a support person for students professionally and emotionally. Cheering them on as they strive to achieve their goals in college. I love this! Each semester I am given the opportunity to make that difference. Providing care for those that need help so they may stay in their homes and make daily life easier is what I can do to give back. Using my skills and understanding to positively impact someone's life is something I am proud of. I was given the opportunity to care for a Dementia/Alzheimer's client for 5 years. I truly embraced each step of her illness journey providing her with understanding, care, and companionship, helping her to maintain her dignity and live her best life during those final years. On fun note, I am also a dog lover! My hobbies are spending time with my family, hiking, gardening and reading.

I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I believe, that's where I belong. I believe I was put here on earth to take care of people and make them smile. I have worked in an Alzheimer's unit for over 3 years

I've been doing different types of caregiving for over 30 now and I feel it's my calling. I absolutely love taking care of people. Especially the elderly.

Hi my name is Anastasia I have been in the medical field for many years. I started my training at a vocational school called Beattie Tech located in McCandless P.A. during my junior 09-10 and senior year 10-11 of high school at Shaler Area High School in pittsburgh pennsylvania. I acquired my CNA at 18years old after I graduated both Beattie Tech and Shaler high school in 2011. I've had experience in many areas as a CNA. I have experience in skilled care including rehabilitation, dementia and Alzheimer's, long term care, short term care and then private care as well I've worked as a supervisor overseeing my other coworkers and training them in private care facilities while distributing med and making sure paper work was caught up to date and that there was an open channel of communication with other care givers to ensure my patients were getting everything they need. I have made it half way through my associates degree in nursing in pennsylvania before moving out here to pendleton indiana in July of 2018. I am currently enrolled in ivytech at the anderson campus to continue my studies. I also am a licensed driver with a vehicle. I LOVE helping and healing I believe I've been given a gift that should not be wasted over the 7 years that I've had experience giving care to the people that need it nothing in the world makes me happier than helping the person I'm working with. I am very outgoing and empathetic to individuals and their environments. I have patience to work through the problems that they are having at a pace that is good for the person I'm caring for. I love the work I do and I hope you will too.

I am a loving and caring person who takes lots of pride in the work that I do. Taking care of people and helping people is something that I love to do and will probably do this until I can't work anymore! I am in school right now to become a nurse. My end goal is to be a an RN!
