I'm a compassionate person that loves people and animals. The joy I can bring to others gives me so much happiness. I've provided care both professionally and personally to a variety of need levels. As the oldest of 3 girls and a Mom that worked as an RN doing 12 hour shifts, I learned caregiving from an early age and realized it was my calling. I'm a proud Ovarian Cancer survivor and very grateful that I have lots of living left to do! I love to learn new things and continue to take college courses each year to exercise my mind. I did I home health as a caregiver. I became a certified nurse aide in 2016. I have worked for many different facilities. I have also taken care of my sister for years. I become a caregiver from the natural nature of my personality. Since the young ago of 16 I started my experience with Nursing Home settings, along with this career choice at such a young age I cared for my grandmother that was diagnosed with Alzheimers and cancer. My son was born with disability that was around the clock care for a young mother. Being a nurturing person I crave to care for those whom are not able to do so for themselves. I cared for my ailing father who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, my father passed 2 yrs ago and I have stuggled with the loss, yet I feel I have a heart big enough to care for others. I took an opportunity in caring for a elderly couple living in their home till her passing. One of the best experiences I had chosen to do. I went to Medical Assisting program where I excelled and was voted most successful. Knowing I have this to offer it's finding a family that we click and giving loved ones the security knowing their loved one is taken very well cared for.
