I am very attentive towards my patients. I am timely and organized. It makes me feel good to know that I can help out in any way. I have always enjoyed taking care of people. Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

Patient, compassionate, and understanding are all words to describe my work ethic. I've had quite a bit of experience with many different patient types, and I believe it's my calling. I truly want to make a difference in peoples lives, and what a better way, than to pay forward with a safe and comfortable life for the patients/residents. I'm CPR-certified.

I am a great caregiver because I don't treat caring for patients as a job. My goal is make my families feel as if I'm one of them. I am very caring and passionate, as well as understanding. I build a personal bond that allows the family and their loved one to feel safe and secure in my care. I decided being a caregiver was my calling once my grandmother became ill with brain cancer and I was responsible for her during the days. Although she was my granny, caring for her allowed me to see life differently, love her even more, and build a bond way different from just that of being her granddaughter. As a caregiver, it is one of my core beliefs to serve those who need my help the most as a servant of God. I believe I was put on this Earth to help people and all living creatures, and while ultimately, I'm training to be a veterinarian, I know that when I work as a caregiver, I'm doing what I know in my heart to be the best thing I can do for the people in my community and my world.
