I've been a CNA for over 29 yrs. I've worked with different clients. I am compassionate, patient and understanding.

I come from a very large family and grew up seeing my mother and her sisters take care of all the elderly in our family. As a teenager I would help out also with the care of my grandmother . After high school I moved to California and worked as a CNA in nursing homes taking care of elderly with Dementia, Alzheimer's , Stroke and other illness besides old age until my Uncle became ill with heart problems, I helped my Aunt take care of him. After his passing I started working in the legal field. Then my Aunt became ill with Parkinson's and Dementia so I stepped in and help her daughters with her care. I was raised to always be kind and helpful to everyone. I love helping people and making sure that I treat them as family . I am a cancer survivor and had a great team of people that helped me, so my goal is to be the best care giver that I can be.

I'm also very knowledgeable on many situation. Such as oxygen deficiency lifts paralyzed care and more. I always do light cleaning for my patients. I"m the type of person, if I see it needs to be done I will. I was taught to not just sit and be lazy. My patients care is my priority. By any means necessary. I am a retired physical therapist assistant. My background is primarily in geriatric rehabilitation, wound care, stroke recovery, exercise programs, ambulatory activities, etc. I have recently been employed as a home health care aide. Duties include: light house keeping, meal preparation, exercise, and medication reminders. I also have been trained in both crisis intervention and grief counseling.
