I grew up on a farm in Ohio with 8 sisters, 1 brother, 3 dogs & several cats, ducks & guinea pigs. I have volunteered most of my adult life with a multitude of organizations including: Hospice, the Humane Society, Make A Wish Foundation, the local library, Kitty Konnection (a feral cat rescue), the Rape Crisis Hotline, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, my local church. I enjoy helping people and the company of animals. My hobbies includes music, baking, traveling, reading, movies, and art museums. I have 2 grown sons & 6 grandkids, all of whom live in other states.

I first became a Certified Nurse Assistant , and then I went back to school to gain experience to become a Registered Nurse . My journey to finishing school has had its ups and downs due to family deaths. I have a very strong background in the healthcare field , I have previously worked in the ICU unit at a hospital , long term care facilities as well as in the home setting.

I'm happy to have cared for a cerebral palsy child from the age of 6 to the age of 17 and seeing him grow and become a man.
