I was drawn to be a Caregiver after caring for my aging mother who was living with cancer & dementia. I have found Volunteer Caregiving in my community enjoyable and extremely rewarding. I love to meet people and to be of service. I am warm, caring, trustworthy, reliable, and discreet. I am hoping to connect with individuals in search of caring companionship and need of assistance with activities of daily living - walking/exercise companionship and assistance with pets. Hello. For the last several years I have been a stay home mamma of 3. I am re entering the work force but need a position that can still work with me being a Mom. I am a caregiver for the past 12 years. I worked in memory care facilities as well foster homes and lately in Visiting Angels. Also, I work in the local hospital at night shift 4 days a week. I have experience working with clients with different mental health issues and people with high care needs. I consider myself a very responsible and reliable worker. As a caregiver what I most enjoy is provided care and make a difference in the life of my clients and their families. I enjoy talk and cooking for my clients.

I'm very understanding and patient with others. I personally am outgoing and try to see the good in everyone and everything. I started out being a Foster Parent for 16 years when I was younger and married, worked with a lot of special need children. After that I dealt with dealing with my aging parents as well, and decided after my divorce I needed to work and support myself and that I do caregiving the best. I'm as honest and loyal and committed as any one out there and a I treat my clients like they are family.
