Ive been in home care in deschutes county for 10+ years, before i ran a in home low income child day care for 15 years in Lane county. Then switched up to care for the elderly and disabled. I have all trainings needed. Including adult foster home EQC certificate, medication training, i am always looking for new ways to advance and taking courses to keep myself up to date with laws and personal focus and better myself in caring. My dream job is working with veterans and their families.

Hi my name is kimberly, I am 20 years old and been a caregiver for 3 years now. Reason why I love to be a caregiver is I love seeing my clients happy and being able to enlighten them and help them everyday, the small things in caregiving make a huge difference. I am all around trained I am CPR certified, I am trained in medicine administration/ reminders, give blood pressure, transfers, ADL's, dementia care, memory care. I'm a considerate and patient person and want to be seen as not only a helper but a friend as well when needed. I'm in caregiving building up my experience and training to go to school and finish the nursing program. I was always interested in the medical field and everyday I fall in love with it more and more.

I'm very understanding and patient with others. I personally am outgoing and try to see the good in everyone and everything. I started out being a Foster Parent for 16 years when I was younger and married, worked with a lot of special need children. After that I dealt with dealing with my aging parents as well, and decided after my divorce I needed to work and support myself and that I do caregiving the best. I'm as honest and loyal and committed as any one out there and a I treat my clients like they are family.

I am a very happy person and I love taking care of people it's a passion I didn't know that I had but I love it. Taking care of people makes me feel like my job means something and I did something good at the end of the day. I am dependable, reliable, have a pleasant, friendly, compassionate personality. I make long term commitments to my families.
