I am a single mom of two kids, a little girl who is seven and a little boy who is 2! Oolong for day shift hours due to not have king any sitter I. The evenings. I chose healthcare and being a caregiver because I have a passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. I believe that healthcare is one of the most important and rewarding fields to work in, as it involves caring for people's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Being a caregiver is not just a job, but a calling, and I feel honored to be able to provide comfort, support, and compassion to those who need it most. (:

I have been working the the health field for 18 years. I have worked in home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and psych hospitals. I love helping people. I love to sit and hear their the stories of their past. I am a very caring person and treat all my residents as if they were my own family. My mother was an aide when I was younger and I always admired what she did and wanted to do the same. I love everything there is about being a caregiver, from the good days to the bad. Every moment, every day is very rewarding. I have two personal achievements that I am most proud of. The first one is my three children. They are my everything and my reason to get up every day and keep doing what I do. My second one is the fact that I am now back in school. I never had enough self confidence to do it but with the support of my children and my boyfriend I know I can accomplish it and be great at it.

I am the oldest of four, and a single mother, caregiving is natural to me. I cared for both of my grandparents in their later years, so they were able to stay at home as long as possible. I find immense joy in spending time caring for others. I have always been good with children and found that I am also gifted in dealing with elderly patients with dementia. I would love to spend my extra time caring for others as I work my way through seminary to become a pastor.

I am a very outgoing person with a down to earth personality. I enjoy helping others and taking care of them and just being a person for them to connect with and trust. I love having a relationship with my residents and knowing that I will be there for them when they need me most. I am very proud of myself for achieving so much in such a short time.

All my life I have helped others, I have experience with home health care, nursing home, and hospital environments. I love helping people and listening to their stories or things they have to say. I have a big heart and do everything I can to help out.

I'm a very patient person and easy going person. I enjoy helping people with any needs they require and seeing them happy whether its just for a companion or needing all needs met gives me great satisfaction. I also enjoy meeting some great people. My personal achievement was going from being just a homecare worker to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.

When I am working I get many complements, one includes how much compassion I have for my patients. I am a loving, outgoing, compassionate person. I love helping people. A personal achievement I am really proud of is when I work in a facility and the doctors want me to go back to school and work for them, in a internship because they say I do an amazing job.
