Exercise patients who are comatose, paralyzed, or have restricted mobility. Feed patients or assist patients to eat or drink. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Communication is key, along with encouragement, patience, and creative problem-solving skills. I have wonderful relationships with my clients. While I am doing their ironing or washing the floor, we're laughing and chatting.
