I am very knowledgeable in the caring field. I am dependable & trustworthy. I don't have children so I put all of my heart and time into those who need me. I feel like God has blessed me with the skills and ability to have a caring heart. I strive to make your loved ones journey as safe & productive as possible. I love nurturing . One of my favorite experiences being a caregiver are the families that I meet and become close with. They become family to me too. I took care of my husband who passed after 19 years of cancer, my grandparents , who both suffered from Alzheimer's. Spent numerous years working in a rest home & for private clients in their home. Here I've learned many skills for many areas where disease affects family. If you choose me to be a part of your care team I'm confident I can complete any task asked of me. SO WHAT EVER NEED THE INDIVIDUALS NEED IM HERE TO PUSH FARTHER TO MAKING IT HAPPEN. WITH NO PROBLEM. I ENJOY THE MOST OF ABLE TO WORK AND GET THE JOB DONE NOTHING ATTRACTED ME WHEN IM AT WORK.

After caring for my fiance's bed bound Uncle for 2 years back in 2013, I found myself going to night school to get into the Medical Field, so I could do more for patients like him. The entire time I was putting myself through night school, I took care of a few other disabled elderly neighbors. While working at NCMC hospital, and then a Gastroenterologist office, I did not feel I was where God wanted me. After speaking with the doctor I was working for and his wife, they pointed me in a direction to help hospice clients. I finally felt I was where God wanted me. In December of 2019, after my sister passed away from cancer, my Mom called and asked me to come home. She said she needed me to help her during her surgeries. I didn't hesitate. I sold my house and moved up here to Fayetteville to help my brother with my Mom. 6 months later she passed and I found myself right back in Home Health Care. I have always gone where I was needed and wanted. The appreciation the clients show me, just from the way their eyes smile at me, that pulls me right back to where I feel I belong. My apologies for not being available on the weekends. I was blessed with becoming a grandmother, shortly after my mom passed, so my weekends are pretty much taken up by my precious Grandson. Monday - Friday, if I am open, I would love to step in and help. Remember, no matter where you are in this walk of life, God has a plan for each and everyone of us. I love being able to take care of people and show love and compassion for people! I love the medical field, I truly believe that God gave me the gift to just love and care for people! I have training and certification for Medical Assistance, Phlebotomist, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis!

As a caregiver i enjoy listening to the clients life story and trying to relate to things that they have experienced in the past. They pass on their wisedom and experience of life to us as caregiver. And being able to make your client feel like they are still important is just an amazing experience. To see them excited when you walk in always makes me smile.

I became a caregiver because my grandfather was ill when I was young I had to learn to assist with him I love to help people I started out as a CNA and then a med aid and now I am currently trying to get into RN program I am striving to be the best so that I can always be there to help people

For a personality trait I'd say I'm caring towards the elderly and thoughtful of my words. I also go out of my way to make sure any person is comfortable and happy. No matter what I do I try my best and give it one-hundred and ten percent. I started caregiving for my great grandma when she had cancer for over a year before she passed away. I realized that I need to be one after I saw how much of a nice job to have to care and help other people. I mostly enjoy the interaction of not only the resident/patient but also the family being happy to know the patient is taken care of and being payed attention to. I enjoy to make the family and resident happy with my work I do for them. My personal achievement is making one resident I had finally open up to me one day. She was sad she was the only family she had left and that no one visits her anymore. And she wanted to leave this earth. I reminded her that the Lord has her here for a reason and we are always here for her. She just needed someone to talk to and I was happy to be there for her.
