I have three plus years of in home health care. I enjoy meeting and working with people . I consider myself a people person because I enjoy meeting and working with others.

I'm a compassionate person who always strives to show empathy, patience and maintain composure at all times. I enjoy helping others, the most rewarding part of being a caregiver is being able to build a trusting relationship with my patients due to being attentive and supportive. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being a single mother and raising my 11 year old son with manners and good morals to guide him. I also help my mother who has undergone a full knee replacement along with two hip replacements within the past six years. I am currently vaccinated for my Flu/COVID/Shingles. I first became a caregiver back with my grandparents. After they passed I went to work for the first company. I've been with 3 different companies over the years and private patients. I kept going back to it so I feel this is where God wants me & wants me to do his work! I enjoy visiting with others and giving the family peace of mind that their loved one is being taken care of! I treat others daily the way I'd want to be treated & other families the way I'd want mine treated / taken care of!

I show both empathy and compassion, for what I do. I have a son he is almost 5 years old. He also has cerebral palsy. As he got older I learned a lot. And wanted to help others. My mom also worked in a nursing home and I would go up there with her and try to help and just talk and play with everyone. I will let the person know that I care about them. For instance, I will try and do what I can to help - not because I have to, but because I want to. I'm proud that I've decided to get my CNA License because I want to help others like I do with my son. The more I learn the more I use with him as well. And eventually I want to get my LVN.

I've been a caregiver for over 20 yrs and also a certified caregiver through Visting Angels of West Tx and have been with Visting Angels almost 3 yrs now . I love being able to keep families in there home where they need to be to be comfortable. I love being able to help people. I love getting to know people, they become like family . My last client that I had that passed I call him my angel. When I met him he wasn't walking very well and eating very well. And I was able to get him where he wanted to get up and walk and eat . And he made me promise him I would never leave him. I didn't til he passed. I was by his side when he passed. So I do what I tell my people I will. I treat them with respect and kindness and love and care for them like there my family . I love being a caregiver. Its a hard job ,but rewarding at the same time . I love fur babbies and smokers dont bother me at all . Im here to take care of your loved 1 to keep them at home where they need to be. Im also taking all my classes on here that they offer and when I pass i am printing the certificates so I can show them . I'll continue to take every class I can to continue my education on learning everything I can to help your love ones. Got my covid vaccine . If you have anything you would like to ask me .
