I'm a very easy going person, I've been a CNA over 20 plus years. I treat my clients as though we're family or the way I want my mother to be treated. What attracted my to caregiving, was having compassion for others. I most enjoy about caregiving is getting to know my clients and/or their family. It brings me great joy knowing that the patients I take care of and work for can have a better quality of life by getting to know them and help them with whatever they need. I have always enjoyed not only working with older people, but children as well. I have been a caregiver for many years not only for family and relatives but people I never knew before. I always feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that the people who I work for can finally feel relief knowing they are around someone trustworthy and honest, and someone that they can feel comfortable with. I am proud of the fact that I am going to online college to pursue a degree in business management so that one day maybe I can open my own healthcare establishment.
