I am completing my graduate degrees, in social work and theology. I am a veteran who has experience as medic as well as over 10 years of caregiving experience. Although I am meticulous about client safety and well-being, I try to make sure clients are comfortable and enjoying their time with me. I'm a very easy going person, I've been a CNA over 20 plus years. I treat my clients as though we're family or the way I want my mother to be treated. What attracted my to caregiving, was having compassion for others. I most enjoy about caregiving is getting to know my clients and/or their family. I am a loving and Compassionate person. I started taking of my grand mother at the age 15yrs old and she is 92, so that is what motivated me to be a caregiver and pursue the career. I enjoy it because it is a work that require human conscience and it remind me that' one day I will be old. It is call to serve God through humanity it is not just a profession. You need patience and tolerance to accommodate the elderly. The quality of care I will give determination how long their lifespan will live especially for the hospice patients ,and for the dementia and Alzheimer's patient, it require a lot of strategy and knowledge of the stage and how to handle them. For bed bound or disable they need total care service.
