Hello! My name is Karine Courtney and I am a 42 y/o married mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been a stay-at-home parent for the last 10 years. Before I made the decision to stay home, I worked as a Phlebotomist in the hospital. This was such a profound time for me. I loved my job. Their are so many patients whom were sick that didn't have any family members to look over them while their or to even visit. I was their only source of companionship. I had taken care of both of my Grandparents whom had cancer. They were able to be at home and live out their life because our family took care of them. We took turns doing what was needed. From baths, meds given correctly, peg tubes cleaned... You name it and I did it!! I also cleaned and cooked. From this I learned what was most important. I am a very high energy, patient, observant and fun loving person. I also have a 3 year old daughter whom has Down Syndrome. I know what it is like first hand to deal with special needs care and gentle redirecting. I love Jesus and my family and friends.
